Gaîté Lyrique, Aéroports / Ville-monde

Aéroports / Ville-Monde explored the airport as a symbol of modern nomadic, connected, and globalized life.

This immersive exhibition transformed La Gaîté Lyrique into a reimagined terminal, blending art, design, architecture, music, and digital media. Inspired by Andy Warhol’s fascination with airport atmospheres, the exhibition offered a critical and poetic reflection on contemporary themes—mobility, surveillance, immigration, consumption, and global connectivity. Among the 19 invited artists, Yorgo Tloupas presented his vision alongside international creatives, with a data map poster with all airports in the world.
